School’s Center for Excellence in Service Hosts Industry-Focused Social Media
Oct. 1, 2010 – The Center for Excellence in Service (CES) at
the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business hosted the
Social Media Forum, which invited social media and marketing industry
practitioners to discuss how marketers leverage social media.
Social media present some of greatest opportunities and toughest challenges for marketers today. The
Social Media Forum, hosted by the marketing faculty of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland
and sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Service, brings together thought leaders in the area of social media marketing. Speakers and panelists will share a wealth of knowledge and experience pertaining to the use of social media in
measuring customer sentiment,
engaging customers and building brands. We will focus on some pioneering research and innovative practices that enable marketers to better leverage the opportunities in this new environment.
