The 5th Annual Social Enterprise Symposium:
“Here and Now”
Friday, March 1, 2013, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Stamp Student Union, University of Maryland
No Limits Social Pitch
No limits – it’s not a question; it is a statement about Social
Entrepreneurship. The Center for Social Value Creation at the Robert H. Smith
School of Business knows that not all ideas are created equal; that not all
entrepreneurs will have the compassion to help their fellow mankind; that not
all organizations will dare to be different. BUT those that do will be the ones
to change the world. So BRING IT. Pitch your idea. Change a life, a community, a
country, or the world; there are no limits to Social Entrepreneurship. The
Social Enterprise Symposium is a platform to help changemakers harness the
resources they need— advice, people, creativity and encouragement. So if you
believe in your idea and want to reach new heights, it begins with a single
pitch.
First prize is $3,000 of start-up capital, plus in-kind services providing
you access to the CSVC's social entrepreneurship network. Additional prizes are
available in specialized categories. [Download
an application today]. The competition is open to all current UMD students,
undergraduate, graduate, or professional. Just make sure to get your application
in by Wednesday, February 6th at Noon to
NoLimitsSIPC@gmail.com. Be part of
the No Limits Social Impact Pitch Competition and make a statement today.
