Why did you choose to attend the Smith School of Business?
As soon as I started attending Smith prospective student events there was o doubt in my mind that I wanted to join the Smith community. The biggest draws for me were small class sizes, great professors and staff, and the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship. I was also really impressed with how highly ranked the Office of Career Services is. The Smith Community also has a teamwork aspect that I didn’t find elsewhere.
In your opinion, what makes the Smith MBA program unique?
Similar to the above, the community is about helping one another whether with school work or getting a job. Everyone here will gladly put his or her work aside to help a fellow Terp with interview prep or a problem set.
What advice would you give to future Smith MBA candidates?
Go with what feels right. Two years goes by in a flash so pick a school with a good group of folks that want you to succeed. Go to Smith!
