“Smith has a strong and expansive alumni community.”

Why did you choose to attend the Smith School of Business?

I chose to attend Smith for a number of reasons: well-respected faculty and courses in my field of interest, opportunity for experiential learning, great opportunities to explore interests through the Centers of Excellence, and the great sense of community.

In your opinion, what makes the Smith MBA program unique?

The Full-Time Smith MBA is unique because it is able to offer a diverse set of classes, opportunities and experiences through a small, close-nit community. It also benefits from having a strong and expansive alumni community because of the opportunity to reach out to Part-Time and Executive MBA graduates as well.

What advice would you give to future Smith MBA candidates?

I would advise future candidates to think about what is important to them in an MBA experience.  Think about more than just the academics, which Smith does a great job at tailoring based on student feedback.  Talk with current students about the sense of community and network they have built, as this is an important aspect of the program.
