“Smith grads are in a league of their own”

Why did you choose to attend the Smith School of Business?

I chose Smith because the students I met during visitor days and admissions were a family.  Also, the community and various activities that students get involved in outside of class were incredibly exciting.  I couldn’t wait to be part of that group. Lastly, placements and other factors such as faculty and courses showed me that Smith grads are in a league of their own.

In your opinion, what makes the Smith MBA program unique?

I feel there are two very critical factors that set Smith apart from all other MBA programs—community and variety.  The community is very close knit and everyone looks  out for each other.  The variety is also important, and helps us build relationships with a diverse group of companies and alumni in the Capital.

What advice would you give to future Smith MBA candidates?

Do lots of research.  Attend other visitation programs and absolutely be sure of what you want.  The community we build here is one that is safe and lasts for a lifetime.  You should choose Smith because it is one of the best and fastest growing programs with great faculty and high placement rates.
