Marketing managers from 3 global companies came together at the Robert H. Smith School of Business to take part in the first Professional Services Leadership Initiative (PSLI) organized by the Center for Excellence in Service and the Office of Executive Programs at Smith.
Dr. Wendy Moe, an Associate Professor within the Marketing department at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland is co-author of a new Cambridge University Press publication: Social Media Intelligence.
The book helps organizations to uncover valuable insights hidden in social media chatter to better inform their strategy. The book can help anyone facing the challenge of making sense of social media data to move beyond the current practice of social media monitoring to more comprehensive use of social media intelligence.

Monday Feb. 3: IMPACT to take place in Baltimore—BGE co-hosts
Smith’s quarterly event for Learning and Development professionals will take place on Monday February 3, 2014 at the Robert H. Smith School of Business Suite at the UMD Biopark in Baltimore.
