The Smith Pride Alliance club is established to create a safe forum for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Smith MBA students, as well as allies, to come together in support of the LGBT MBA community – for social, academic and career development.
In addition, the Smith Pride Alliance is established to:
- Encourage and facilitate communication and social interaction among LGBT and straight graduate students, alumni, faculty and administration in the R.H. Smith MBA program;
- Help students with specific issues such as coming out in society as well as at work;
- Develop leadership among LGBT MBA students in forging diverse, supportive workplaces now and in the future.
