Who we are...

Supply Chain Management Society,  is a student-run, student-elected undergraduate organization in the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

What we do...

The SCM Society holds weekly meetings where guest speakers address members in an effort to provide insight to the logistics, transportation, and supply chain management fields. In addition, each fall the Society hosts Supply Chain Management Career and Networking Day (formerly INDUSTRY DAY), a career fair that includes an award presentation for the Supply Chain Management Person of the Year as well as a networking lunch for students and recruiters.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to:

  1. Provide real-world exposure and opportunities to SCM students through industry speakers, networking events with professionals and alumni, and field trips.
  2. Build community and mentorship among SCM students
  3. Develop mutually beneficial corporate relationships in the SCM field.

Consistently expand and improve the organization's services, procedures, and professionalism.
