We will be collecting donations during our annual suit drive during the week of April 11 on both the College Park and DC campuses! As many of you may know, this month is Team MBA month, so the suit drive provides another opportunity for us to give back to the community. Please fill out this short survey if you have donated so we can track SAWMBA members' generosity and share our results!

* What: We are collecting spring and summer women's professional clothing and accessories for the non-profit organization Dress for Success - Washington, DC. The mission of Dress for Success "is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life." All donated items should be seasonal (spring or summer attire), business appropriate, clean, and gently-used!
o Separates - khaki pants, button down shirts, other business casual
o Shoes (particularly sizes 8.5-10)
o Accessories - handbags, jewelry, belts, scarves
o Suits (particularly sizes 00 - 4 and 18-22 )
o Nurses scrubs

SAWMBA is accepting candidates for the 2011-2012 Board. All full-time positions are open: President, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Programming and Events, Vice President of External Relations.

Platforms and a link to voting will be sent out to students by midnight on February 16th. Voting will be open from midnight Wednesday, February 16th until midnight Sunday, February 20th. Winners will be announced on Monday, February 21st. Election results are managed and verified by the MBAA.

SAWMBA is excited to attend the NAWMBA Conference being held this year in Louisville, Kentucky. We encourage both first and second year students to attend. This is a great opportunity to network and get an early start on your internship and job search! Register before September 1st for $150. After September 1st, rate increases to $200.
