Courtney Clark, President Courtney is originally from upstate New York earning her undergraduate degree at Boston College. After majoring in Economics and History, Courtney worked at Harvard University in grants and contracts for the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. It was there working as a research administrator that she decided to pursue an MBA at the University of Maryland. She now focuses on strategy and marketing. In her spare time Courtney enjoys watching horse racing and participating in NCAA March Madness.

Liza Savranskaya,
Executive Vice
President
Liza is from Gaithersburg, MD by way of Moscow, Russia and has lived in the DC area ever since. While studying English and Economics in undergrad, Liza fell in love with the restaurant industry and worked in franchise operations upon graduation. Restaurant operations turned into a lot of strategic human capital, which is what eventually brought her to Smith. She is currently focusing on change management and organizational design, under the umbrella of strategy consulting. At school, Liza is on the board for the Consulting Club as well as SAWMBA. Outside of school, she can be found obsessing over her cat Molly or skiing on winter weekends.

Angie Baker, Vice
President of Finance
Angie is originally from Kensington, MD and graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland. While she was at St. Mary's, she founded the first women's softball team. Outside of Smith, she has been involved with many departments of business from IT consulting for Booz Allen Hamilton to writing ingredient proposals for H.J. Heinz. Angie came to Smith to pursue consulting and strategic management in the energy field in an effort to get involved in retrofitting older buildings to make them more energy efficient. Outside of work, Angie enjoys going to the beach and playing softball. |

Sue Compagna, Vice

Marketing
Sue is originally from Wethersfield, CT and moved to Baltimore after college. She graduated from Loyola University in Maryland with a BBA in Finance and a minor in mathematics. Prior to attending Smith, Sue worked for T. Rowe Price, a Baltimore-based investment management firm. There, Sue supported the trading desk, negotiating and coordinating the settlement of trades. Sue has returned to Smith to pursue a career in marketing analytics. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, baking and volunteering at the Maryland SPCA. |

Sarina Sethi,
Vice President of
External Relations
Sarina is a Smith School Alumni that earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2007. Following her undergraduate studies, Sarina worked as a Marketing/Account Manager for a Business Software Solutions firm in Bethesda, Maryland for about one year. She then decided to enter the Real Estate Industry, enrolling and completing University of Maryland's Master of Real Estate Development program within the School of Architecture, Preservation and Planning. Before returning to the Smith School, Sarina worked in Commercial Property Management as an Assistant Property Manager at Axent Realty Group/Willco Construction in Potomac, Maryland from 2009 to 2011. Sarina was born and raised in Maryland and loves to travel and shop. |

Teal Liu, Vice
President of
Programming and Events
Teal is a second-year MBA student at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, focusing in marketing. She is currently a graduate assistant for Off-Campus Student Life and swims on the Terrapin Masters Swim Team. Born in California and raised in Texas, she received her B.A. from Vassar College in Art History and International Economics and was a member of their varsity swim team. Prior to attending Smith, Teal was a Customer Service Specialist and Marketing Coordinator for Efco Products, Inc. in Poughkeepsie, NY. This past summer, she completed a graduate marketing internship with The Hershey Company, working on the Refreshment brand team. Upon completion of her MBA, she intends to pursue a career in brand management for consumer packaged goods. |
