2009-2010 Finance Association Leadership Team

Ricky Fung, Co-President 
Ricky is from Albany, NY.  He got his B.S. in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University. He worked in sales before transitioning to consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton.  Ricky is also one of two Portfolio Managers for the Mayer Fund.  In Summer 2009, he interned at Humana in their internal strategic consulting group.
Hank Chou, Co-President 
Hank is interested in asset management, investment research, and corporate finance opportunities.  Hank interned with MTB Investment Advisors in summer 2009, completing high level equity and fixed income research projects and assisted senior research analysts and portfolio managers with managing various funds. Hank and members of the Mayer Fund actively manage $2 million for the Smith Business School Foundation.
Rajorshi (Raj) Chakraborty, Vice-President, Competitions
Raj is focusing on Finance and Strategic Operations. In summer 2009, he interned with a non profit at Baltimore region as a financial analyst. He was responsible for portfolio management, credit analysis and risk assessment of various charter schools across the country. He is also the President of Supply Chain and Operations Club.
Puja Samria, Vice-President, Alumni Relations

Puja has a bachelors degree in accountancy and a Chartered Accountancy degree (equivalent to CPA in the US) from Mumbai, India. She is a partner at a boutique accountancy and taxation firm in Mumbai and has experience in areas of in accountancy, audit, finance and taxation and corporate law advisory.
Chia-Chieh (Jeff) Hong, Vice-President, Career Development 

Jeff was born in Taipei , Taiwan . He spent eight years in Panama before coming to the US for college. Prior to business school, Jeff worked for a boutique consulting firm in Washington D.C. analyzing US-China relations for Fortune 100 companies with operations in China . His interests include golfing and reading the Journal.

Melvin Lye, Vice-President, Information Technology

Melvin was a IT project manager prior to Smith. He graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Computer Science and is interested in the developments of the Finance and Healthcare IT industry in the US. In summer 2009, he interned with DrFirst in the area of strategic research and analysis.
Patrick Halloran, Vice-President, Special Events 

Patrick is an entrepreneurial self-starter with strong leadership qualities and the ability to work autonomously. Patrick is also a member of the Mayer Fund.

 

Arvinder Bhatia, Vice-President, Finance 

Arvinder is a 2nd year Full Time MBA candidate 2010 and a member of the Mayer Fund.
