I was born in a university and grew up in a university, and I am obsessed with campus life. I wish to be a student for the rest of my life.
In the MBA program I concentrate in finance with great passion for marketing strategies.
I love to chat about new business ideas, traveling, and movies".

Hideki Kakuma
VP of Student Affairs

"I'm from Tokyo, Japan. Before I came to Smith, I worked at a Japanese investment bank for several years. As a typical Japanese, I had no experience of living in any foreign country, and actually this is the first time to live in the U.S. So, I'm now really impressed by the diversity at Smith and feeling truly happy to join this community.

After MBA, I hope to work at any international subsidiary of my current employer, which are located in the major cities of the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Thus, the experience at Smith is extremely important for me, and I need to learn not only MBA classes but also how I can enjoy the rest of my life".
