Introduction
The Healthcare Business Association promotes the
development of the Robert H. Smith School of Business as the premier
MBA program for producing business leaders in the healthcare, life
science, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries. Through regular
meetings, events, and conferences the club actively creates
relationships with industry leaders and informs the Smith community of
healthcare related advances and career opportunities. HBA has strong
relationships with industry organizations, healthcare/life science
clubs at local business schools, the biotechnology industry, and
venture capitalists.
Announcements
The new
leadership team is excited and looking forward to the
new year. We encourage all HBA members to
participate in HBA activities and have the opportunity
to spearhead projects of interest. If you have an idea for an event

Health Care Business Alliance

The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt
University is proud to host the 1 st annual Health
Care Business Alliance at the Nashville Marriott at
Vanderbilt University. The goal of the conference is
to provide a forum for MBA, MHA and MPH students and
professionals to network with colleagues, further
healthcare knowledge and participate in a recruiting
event featuring industry leaders in many areas of
healthcare.
2nd Annual HBA Career Night
Nov 7th, 2008, 5-8pm
The catered event will feature a speaker, career
panel and career fair with several employers
representing different areas of the healthcare industry.
Invited firms include Booz Allen, Merck, GE Healthcare
Finance, Johnson & Johnson and others. More details to
