Darshan ModyDarshan Mody, Co-President

As the Co-President of the MCC, Darshan is responsible for leading the board as well as defining and executing the team's combined vision. Before Smith, Darshan worked as a software developer in India. In that role, he acquired widespread experience in cross functional areas ranging from coding in C# and Java to leading a marketing team in the company’s mobile products portfolio. Darshan received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from D.J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, University of Mumbai.



       
Fatih KocaFatih Koca, Co-President

As the Co-President of the MBA Consulting Club, Fatih is responsible for aligning the Board to achieve the vision of the Consulting Club.In his first year at the Smith School, Fatih has participated in the China Business Plan Competition and has served as Social Venture Consultant to a D.C. based not-for-profit firm. He interned in eBay's Consumer Insights division during the last summer. Prior to his MBA, Fatih had an international career in aerospace and finance industries where he involved in large-scale projects such as F-16 modernization and core banking system replacement for a European Bank's four different country offices. Fatih holds a Bachelor's degree from Bilkent University.

Mollie ModayMollie Moday, VP Career Development

In this role, Mollie aims to maximize career opportunities for members of the Smith Consulting Club through interview preparation, networking opportunities, and building stronger alliances with consulting firms nationwide. Before joining Smith, Mollie was a corporate fundraising manager at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. where she managed a Board of over 100 CEOs nationwide and several large-scale campaigns to raise approximately $12 million annually. Mollie holds a bachelor's degree from New York University.

 
SebleSeble Alemayehu, VP PTMBAA Relations

As VP of Part-time MBA Liaisons, Seble is responsible for increasing the involvement of Smith Part-time MBA students in all three campuses – Baltimore, Shady Grove, and Washington DC - to help enhance the communication and network between the full-time and part-time cohort. Seble is a second year Part-time MBA Student at the Washington DC campus and currently serves as the 2011-2012 Internal Relations committee member for the Part-time MBA Association (PTMBAA). Seble is a Program Analyst at A3 Technology Inc., a contracting company for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Seble holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington and has over five years of professional experience in varied organizational contexts including Professional Services, Financial Planning, Non-Profit and Banking. 

  

  

Ben PollackBen Pollack, VP Finance

In this role, Ben’s goal is to create and manage the club budget and provide budget updates throughout the year concerning the availability of funds for events.  In addition, he works with the MBAA VP of Finance to negotiate funds for events and process reimbursements in a timely process.  Before joining Smith, Ben worked at Bank of America in the treasury services division, where he managed a portfolio of corporate clients.  Ben holds a bachelor’s degree from Emory University.

Anthony Ring, VP Strategic Communication

Anthony is the VP of Strategic Communications for the MBA Consulting Club at Smith where he is responsible for all club related communications both internally and externally. Before coming to Smith, Anthony spent 9 years working as an equity options trader in Chicago. He spent the first 7 years running a specialist post on the CBOE floor, and the last two years acting as a portfolio manager for a proprietary options trading firm. He came back to school to become a career changer and will be working as an intern in PwC's commercial advisory practice this summer in their Banking and Capital Markets group. Anthony holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from American University in Washington DC
