International Week has been a one of the school’s long held traditions at Smith. Smith students come from a variety of backgrounds: approximately 40 percent of MBAs come from outside of the United States, including China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Nigeria, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, and Venezuela. In 2013, International Week will be held between February 18~21.

Beginning on Monday, February 18th, students will celebrate the Chinese New Year with food and games at Mandarin Delight Restaurant (10613 Montgomery Rd, Beltsville, MD 20705).
$8  per person for Smith MBAs (AMBAA will subsidize rest of the cost)
$13 per person for significant others

On Tuesday, February 19th, International MBA Association will hold the "International Video Trivia Night". During the event, students will get a taste of global festivals, food, dance and living experience.
When : 5:30-7:30pm

On Wednesday, February 20th, students will have a chance to taste five type of drinks from all over the world while enjoying the popular music videos from different culture.
When : 5-7pm

International Night, the culmination of the week, will be held on Thursday, February 21st. The evening features student-cooked cuisines from their own cultures, student fashion show of traditional clothes from multiple countries, and student singing and dancing performance.
