The principle investigator on this grant is Dr. Katherine Stewart, Associate Professor of Information Systems in the Decision, Operations and Information Technologies Department of the R. H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

Overview
The main goals of the project are developing and testing a model of the influences of team, project, and user factors on success in open source software ( OSS ) development.  A multidimensional conceptualization of success is utilized, including both a development and a usage perspective.
