Celebrate the Dingman Center's 25th Anniversary
with a
Pitch (Michael) Dingman Competition!
September 21, 2010

Van Munching Hall, Frank Auditorium
Michael Dingman, Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship benefactor
and successful international investor, will discuss how
to best succeed in an evolving global landscape, and how
entrepreneurship fuels the global economy. The event will
begin with a “Pitch Dingman” competition, where four student
entrepreneurs will compete for $2,500 in start-up funding,
awarded by Michael Dingman. The competition will be followed
by a keynote address and interactive Q&A session, concluding
with refreshments in the Pownall Grand Atrium.
This event is free and open to everyone, but advanced registration
is requested.

first alumni club of the Robert H. Smith School. SmithNY
is a professional network for Smith alumni living and

Manoff '78, vice chairman, northeast managing partner,
Ernst & Young, LLP and Dean G. "Anand" Anandalingam of

Speaker Series. The Smith School’s world-class faculty members
discuss their latest research on topics of broad interest
and importance.
Each presentation is followed by an opportunity to
network with alumni and regional business leaders at one
of Smith’s convenient local campuses in Washington,
D.C., or Baltimore, MD.
Breakfast begins at 8 a.m.; presentations begin at 8:30
a.m. and are followed by a Q&A period concluding at 10 a.m.
Cost is $25 for the general public, $15 for Smith School
alumni and $10 for current students unless otherwise noted
(includes continental breakfast). Attend two sessions and
