Smith School faculty member since 2001, has held
positions of leadership including senior associate dean,
chair of the Department of Decision, Operations and
Information Technologies, and Tyser Professor of
Management Science. Since becoming dean in July 2008, he
has been focused on meeting alumni in various regions
and assisting with the strategic positioning of the
university as a top-tier research institution. Take this
