MBA Programs Are Ranked Among the Nation's Best
The part-time MBA program at Smith School is ranked No. 11 and its full-time MBA program is ranked No. 25 in the latest edition of U.S.News & World Report’s “America’s Best Graduate Schools." U.S. News also ranked the Smith School among the nation’s best in numerous specialty areas, including its Information Systems program at No. 6.

Smith to Launch Global Consortium MBA Program
The Smith School has entered into a strategic partnership with the Management Development Institute (MDI) in India and the University of International Business and Economics in China to jointly deliver a Global Consortium MBA program that will simultaneously draw students from the United States, China and India.

Smith MBA Sells Magazine to Washington Post
Zoey Rawlins, MBA ’06, sold SHOP DC, a Washington, D.C., shopping and fashion guide she founded during her time as a Smith student, to Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive (WPNI). It has been relaunched online as DC Scout. Rawlins created SHOP DC two years ago while working toward her MBA at the Smith School and with $7,000 in startup funding from the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship.
