17th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament
and Raffle/Silent Auction

Alumni and friends will gather once again for the 17th Annual Alumni Chapter Golf Tournament to raise funds for scholarships, alumni and student programs and recruitment. Golfers will spend a fun-filled day on the course followed by a dinner and raffle/silent auction.

Managing Cybersecurity Resources: A Cost Benefit Analysis

Gordon and Martin Loeb, will focus on cybersecurity resources and is based on their widely-acclaimed book, Managing Cybersecurity Resources: A Cost-Benefit Analysis. Mark Walsh, entrepreneur-in-residence at the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship, will moderate.

Digital Economy Forum
October 5-7, 2006

The Smith School’s Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) and the Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA) are offering a globalization conference for business leaders featuring workshops with topics like how globalization is affecting the U.S. economy, how to make off-shoring successful, and how to manage localization.

MBA Case Competition & Reception
October 6–7, 2006
Van Munching Hall – Frank Auditorium

This three-day event is an academic requirement for all full-time second-year MBA’s who will compete in a series of elimination rounds over three days in a case competition. A Harvard Business School case is selected and kept secret until the event begins. More than 60 alumni and corporate friends will be invited to serve as judges. The final round concludes with a reception attended by all second-year MBAs, Smith School faculty, staff and local Smith alumni and key corporate friends. LTSCM Industry Day Event

The Logistics, Transportation and Supply Chain Management (LTSCM) Society of the Smith School of Business will hold its annual luncheon and career fair at the Stamp Student Union. This event showcases the various career opportunities available to students in the LTSCM industry. The event is open to business undergraduates and MBA’s majoring in LTSCM or those interested in the field.
