& International Trade Center) on Dec. 12 (8-10 a.m.) for breakfast and a

Haluk Ünal,
Professor of Finance

Haluk Ünal, a senior fellow
at the Wharton Financial Institutions Center, is an expert in corporate
finance, the management of financial institutions and fixed-income
securities. In a recent paper, Ünal studies the resolution costs and
methods of bank failures from 1986 to 2007. His findings shed light
into the costs of future bank failures. He has consulted for the FDIC,
World Bank and the Department of Justice, and is the managing editor of
the Journal of Financial Services Research.

The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center
(300 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.) is conveniently located at
the Federal Triangle Metro Station serviced by the Blue and Orange lines.
The entrance to the parking garage is on 14th Street, N.W., between
Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., and Constitution Avenue, N.W. Metro stop: Federal
Triangle. The Smith School is located on the concourse level and will be on
the left after passing through security when arriving by Metro. Parking is
available in the building's subterranean parking garage. Please park on P1
or P2, close to the green signs for the Atrium North or South lobbies.
Attendees and guests should allow themselves extra time as the lots are
secure and all guests are screened upon entry. A valid photo ID is required
to enter the building.
