Jeremy Rifkin, founder and president of Foundation on Economic Trends, is the author of 17 books on the impact of scientific and technological changes on the economy, the workforce, society, and the environment. He will be speaking about one of his most popular books, The Age of Access, at the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business to kick off the Smith MBA Speaker Series on Wednesday, August 1 at 7 p.m. in Van Munching Hall's Frank Auditorium. (Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m.)

Jeremy Rifkin spoke at MBA Orientation in 2005 about his book The European Dream.
