important step to assure that talented
students who are enrolled in

substantial assistance in reaching their
educational goals, Wilson said. The
announcement of this program begins a
long-term effort to support excellent,
market-oriented academic programs. The
selection process was careful and thorough,
and we congratulate the Robert H. Smith
School for winning this award.
In creating these
scholarships IANA is helping the Smith
School ensure the next generation of
logistics and supply chain management
professionals is well prepared to manage
complex intermodal supply chains and to
address the challenges facing the global
transportation system, said Howard Frank,
dean of the University of Marylands Robert
H. Smith School of Business. IANAs gift

deserving Smith students to explore the
excitement of a career focused on logistics
and intermodal transportation.
