James Graham is New
Director of Maryland Small Business
Development Center Network
College Park, MD - December 3,
1996 - James N. Graham has been
appointed director of the Maryland Small
Business Development Center (SBDC)
Network, effective January 6, 1997. The
Maryland SBDC Network is administered by
the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship,
a major unit of the Maryland Business
School, University of Maryland at
College Park.
Since 1993, Graham has served as
executive director of the Small Business
Finance Corporation in York, PA. Since
1992, he has directed the Office of
Small Business & Corporate Growth, York
(PA) County Chamber of Commerce. His
other past positions include coordinator
for economic development for the
Economic and Community Development
Commission of Frederick, MD; director of
finance and development for the
Pennsylvania Directors' Association for
Community Action; and administrator for
the Pennsylvania Department of Commerce.

announce the appointment of James Graham
as director of the Maryland SBDC
Network," said Charles Heller, director
of the Dingman Center. "James brings to
Maryland a wealth of experience in the
financial community, economic
development, and assistance to small
business. He will lead the effort to
bring the SBDC Network to a new level."
Maryland's Small Business Development
Centers provide free individualized
business consulting, low-cost business
training seminars, workshops and
conferences, and targeted research in
support of small business concerns. In
addition to the Maryland SBDC lead
center at the Dingman Center, regional
centers are located in Baltimore,
Salisbury, LaPlata, Landover, and
Cumberland.
