Leveraging Corporate Knowledge Seminar Series

College Park, Md. - September 7, 2000 - Learn how to create and manage a knowledge-based business at a seminar series at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park. Titled "Leveraging Corporate Knowledge," the series is co-sponsored by Information Management Consultants, Inc., (IMC) and the Smith School of Business. IMC is an internationally recognized information technology and management consulting firm based in McLean, Virginia.

All seminars will be in the Marriott Room of Van Munching Hall, home of the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Following is a list of the upcoming seminars.

Thursday, October 12, 3:30 pm
"The Transformation of Financial Industries through Internet Technologies"
Sudhakar V. Shenoy, chairman and founder of Information Management Consultants, Inc., will discuss the impact of Internet technologies on the financial services industry.

Thursday, November 16, 3:30 pm
"Electronic Bartering"
Michael O. Ball, professor of decision and information technologies at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, will discuss how the Web and advanced decision models are resurrecting the oldest method of commerce for trading both traditional and new age products.
