On July 24, 2014, 41 executives from EMBA Cohort 13 graduated from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, in a ceremony attended by more than 300 family, friends and faculty and staff of the Smith School at the university’s Riggs Alumni Center.
The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business partnered with the Tata group for the “Tata Dialogue on Innovation” at New York City’s The Pierre hotel on July 10, 2014. The discussion was moderated by CEO of PepsiCo Americas Beverages Albert Carey and featured a discussion with Warren Harris, President and COO of Tata Technologies.
As part of a multi-disciplinary, international consulting practicum offered by the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, ten graduate students ventured to Sri Lanka in May 2014 to spend three weeks consulting with small business owners and government agencies.
