When Turner Sports transitions from Warriors-Thunder NBA playoff action tonight to its Friday debut on TBS of its own eSports league, it also will showcase Turner’s new 10,000-square-foot arena in Atlanta.

Smith School PhD Mahka Moeen wrote her dissertation on the industry and offers a historical perspective that might calm some of the fears.

The Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business awarded two PhD candidates with $4,000 each to support their research. CIBER Director Kislaya Prasad presented Yang Pan and Lanfei Shi, both PhD candidates in information systems, with the awards at a ceremony on May 11, 2016.

On May 20, 2016, 1,200 students graduated from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business with bachelors’, masters’ and doctoral degrees. The commencement ceremonies were held at the Xfinity Center on the university’s College Park campus.
