The Top 15% Teaching Awards are to be given out once a year, in the fall semester, based on faculty performance during the previous academic year. For this award, the academic year is defined as consisting of the fall semester, the winter semester, the spring semester and summer semester sessions I and II, in that order. There are three categories of awards.
College Park, Md. – February 22, 2013 – Six startups advanced to compete in the April 5, 2013 final round of Cupid’s Cup, the national business competition held by the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. The annual competition is sponsored by Kevin Plank, CEO and founder of Under Armour.

Expanding the definition of diversity and fostering a culture of inclusiveness were two themes echoed throughout seven company presentations at the Diversity in the Workplace Symposium held Feb. 11, 2013 in the Frank Auditorium at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Brunswick Group, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Fannie Mae, J.C. Penney, KPMG and Target made presentations at the event.
