The Center for Social Value Creation at the Robert H. Smith School of Business has launched the Living Lab Portal. This online platform is designed to connect UMD students with experiential learning projects focused on improving the UMD campus and local community.
This semester, undergraduate students at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business launched the Diversity Empowerment Council (DEC). With a vision to help represent and expand diversity within Smith, the DEC will focus on strengthening unity, student integration and academic excellence.

Each year, undergraduate students at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business travel to New York City to explore potential careers and visit with UMD-Smith alumni. This year, nearly 200 students and 10 faculty/staff chaperones made the trip, Oct. 23-24, 2014.
