Research in the
Lab
Researching the
Revolution in Real Time.
University of Maryland faculty and
academicians from around the world can
use the lab to research cutting-edge
technologies and to test theories and
models for the Internet economy.
Smith School faculty are using the
lab’s capabilities to examine the impact
of netcentricity on the traditional
business model, organizational
structures and processes, industry-wide
networks, alliances, supply chain
relationships, electronic learning, and
consumer behavior.
Most important, through the use of
Federal research or private funds, an
interdisciplinary team of researchers
can collaborate on projects that will
shape and define Netcentricity in the
coming decade.
