Researching the Revolution in Real Time.

University of Maryland faculty and academicians from around the world can use the lab to research cutting-edge technologies and to test theories and models for the Internet economy.

Smith School faculty are using the lab’s capabilities to examine the impact of netcentricity on the traditional business model, organizational structures and processes, industry-wide networks, alliances, supply chain relationships, electronic learning, and consumer behavior.

Most important, through the use of Federal research or private funds, an interdisciplinary team of researchers can collaborate on projects that will shape and define Netcentricity in the coming decade.

Project: Portal for intermodal transportation systems in the state of Maryland - a pilot project.
