Why I chose Smith: I was drawn to The University of Maryland because of the exceptional faculty; I am impressed that top researchers in the field of business are also great at engaging with students in the classroom. But the deciding factor for me was the interactive curriculum available at Smith as well as many opportunities to travel and experience American culture outside of the classroom.

My advice to future Smith MBA Candidates: Focus on leadership. No matter what industry you plan to enter after business school leadership is a skill that is in demand and needs to be learned and practiced to develop.
