Course Description
Compete for $10,000 in cash prizes in the annual China Business Plan Competition and experience China, one of the world’s fastest growing economies, with fellow students, Smith School faculty and entrepreneurs-in-residence from the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship.
BUSI 788K: This one-credit course is about writing and presenting new venture business plans relevant to the Chinese market. It involves pitching your team’s business plan in the U.S. (December) and in Beijing, China (January). Business ideas must either take place in China or leverage Chinese resources. The course is required for participation in the China Business Plan Competition which offers up to $10,000 in cash prizes. By registering for this course, you will be registered for the 2 credit winter global studies trip to Beijing in January 2013, led by the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship.
