A Dual Degree Approach

I chose Smith because of the emphasis on globalization, entrepreneurship, and technology. As a dual degree candidate, the combination of these business fundamentals along with my international development focus at the UMD School of Public Policy will position me for a career in international project development and management.

Advice to Future Applicants

If you are considering dual degree programs, be sure to speak with as many people along the food chain in both schools. Not only does this remove the ambiguity that characterizes joint programs, but it establishes connections with future champions in each of the respective schools.
