Marketing Internships - Academic Year

List of Internship Opportunities during the Academic School Year

Internships have become a very important part of a college student's professional experience prior to their entering the job market.  The Smith School offers a summer internship course, BMGT 357, for academic credit.  However, more and more employers, seeing the value they receive from Smith students as interns, are offering internships during the academic school year.  While this work is not eligible for the BMGT 357 course credit, it is more likely to offer compensation and can be a valuable learning experience.

As the Marketing Department becomes aware of possible internships offering during the academic school year, they will be added to a PDF document with details about the company, the type of work and the contact information.  This document will be updated periodically as internships are offered.  You may download this document from the link above.

Students need to be aware that there is no supervision or oversight from the faculty in the Smith School during an internship that is not specifically part of the BMGT 357 summer internship course.
