Roxanna Lefkoff

Joined University of Maryland in 1990.

Roxanne Lefkoff holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a Teaching Professor of Marketing in the Robert H. Smith School of Business. She is also Director of the Business, Society & the Economy (BSE) program of College Park Scholars. Dr. Lefkoff has received numerous outstanding teaching awards from the University of Maryland's Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and the Smith Business School. She received the Krowe Award for Teaching Innovation for her development of the Strategy Board Competition Project designed specifically for students in the BSE program. For her outstanding contribution to undergraduate education, she was named a Lilly Teaching Fellow and was featured in the CTE Teaching and Learning News. Professor Lefkoff's areas of expertise are consumer behavior and marketing research methodology. She was recognized as a finalist for the Ferber Award sponsored by the Journal of Consumer Research for best article published based on a dissertation. She has published in the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Consumer Research, and Advances in Consumer Research. Dr. Lefkoff holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University. Prior to her work in academia, she worked for Exxon in Baytown, Texas.
