Natasha Zhang Foutz received her Ph.D. in Management / Marketing from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University in 2004. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland, College Park. Her research focuses on (i) the role of behavioral dynamics, such as referencing effects, in consumer choices; and (ii) empirical analysis of firm dynamic competition, particularly in the entertainment and technology industries. She utilizes Hierarchical Bayes and dynamic programming methodologies in her research. She taught Marketing Management at Cornell University and will be teaching Marketing Management at University of Maryland.
