Adjunct Faculty
Matt Minahan is President of MM & Associates, an international consulting
firm specializing in strategic planning, organization design, and leadership
development. The firm works exclusively with organizations and leaders who are
planning enterprise-wide change programs, including business strategy, values,
mission, business process simplification, planning systems, new structures,
communications, management practices, business process re-engineering, and
monitoring and evaluation systems
Matt has more than 25 years experience in organization development. He works
in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, with senior executive teams
who want to develop new business strategies, redesign their organizations to
meet new business challenges, improve goal setting, communication and
involvement strategies, personal style, use of time, priority setting, decision
making, and the effective delivery and receipt of feedback
He earned his doctorate from The George Washington University's Executive
Leadership Program in Organization Development, following an MS in Organization
Behavior from the University of Hartford, and a BA in Communications from the
University of Maryland.
He is on the adjunct faculty of the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins
University, and the R. H. Smith School at the University of Maryland, where he
teaches organization development and strategic human capital. He is an active
volunteer and member of NTL Institute, the Organization Development Network, and
CBODN, where he is a former board member. He is a regular presenter at the OD
Network’s and CBODN’s Annual Conferences, and he is also the organizer of the 10
ODNet email discussion lists, with more than 3,000 subscribers.
