Access SmithApps for Remote Use of Lab Applications
All students, and those faculty and staff who have been migrated to Active
Directory for their network file space, should use SmithApps for remote access
to lab applications and research databases. Use of this system requires the
Citrix client, which can be downloaded directly from SmithApps. Faculty and
staff who are still on Novell should continue to use
MySmith at MyUM.
Canvas -
the new ELMS
Log into Canvas, the Enterprise Learning Management System in use by UMCP, at
myelms.umd.edu using your
directory ID and password. Questions or problems with Canvas may be addressed to
canvas@rhsmith.umd.edu, or
elms@umd.edu.
Access Blackboard Course Database by clicking the small
white text link at the bottom of the menu on the left of the
ELMs login page. After June 30, 2013 the
server will be decommissioned and nothing else may be recovered.
