M. Susan
Taylor, Co-Director
Susan Taylor is professor of
management at the Smith School
and a Fellow of the Society of
Industrial/Organizational
Psychology. A past chair of the
Academy of Management's Human
Resource Division and a current
member of the academy's Board of
Governors, she is well known for
her research on career mobility,
staffing, and performance
management. Her current research
examines the changing social
contract between firms and their
employees, the intersection of
strategic human resource
management and organizational
justice, and the impact of the
digital economy on executive
careers and organizational labor
markets. Taylor teaches in
executive development programs
in the U.S. and abroad, and
consults with public and private
sector organizations. |

Paul
Tesluk, Co-Director
Paul Tesluk is associate
professor of management whose
primary research areas focus on
the design and implementation of
high-involvement workplace
systems, innovation and
knowledge management in work
teams, and work experience and
the development of leadership
talent. His research perspective
integrates factors at multiple
organizational levels. Tesluk's
work has been published in the
Academy of Management Journal,
Journal of Applied Psychology,
and Personnel Psychology, among
other journals. He also has
consulted with organizations in
the areas of organizational
culture and change,
high-involvement work practices,
implementation of virtual teams,
and performance management and
reward system design.
