Toward better understanding contemporary organizations, the Center for Human Capital, Innovation and Technology focuses on:

  • Macro and micro theories and levels of analyses, cross-functional business expertise in examining human capital, innovation, and technology.
  • The blending of human capital, innovation, and technology within organizations to better understand more socially complex sources of competitive advantage.
  • The perceptual and cognitive processes underlying how organizations manage the tension between their capabilities and limitations with respect to human capital, innovation, and technology.
  • The management of the interdependencies and alignment of human capital, innovation, and technology at all levels of the organization.

Powering HCIT and its mission are:
