The reality of business is that innovation, technology, and human capital
are complex phenomena emerging as interactions between people, structure,
processes, financial resources and the external environment.
Toward better understanding contemporary organizations,
the Center for Human Capital, Innovation and Technology focuses on:
- Macro and micro theories and levels
of analyses, cross-functional business expertise in examining human
capital, innovation, and technology.
- The blending of human capital,
innovation, and technology within organizations to better understand
more socially complex sources of competitive advantage.
- The perceptual and cognitive
processes underlying how organizations manage the tension between their
capabilities and limitations with respect to human capital, innovation,
and technology.
- The management of the
interdependencies and alignment of human capital, innovation, and
technology at all levels of the organization.
Powering HCIT and its mission are:
