What Smith students have to say about HKUST:
“HKUST is known for its campus, it’s gorgeous. It really
hits you though when you move into your dorm and realize you are going to get to
look at the ocean every day for the next five months. They are very friendly and
go above and beyond to make the exchanges feel welcome. The main point is to
immerse yourself in a culture and learn something new – you get a chance to be
in a whole new country and have to learn how they are and how they think. That
helps when you make global friends, which is the most important thing to do
while you’re there! It’s worth it just to go, just meet people and learn about
their lives and how they view my life; it’s interesting to learn how they view
lives in America and what opportunities they think we have -- makes me
appreciate my life.”
