Smith-in-Beijing
Spend a semester in the capital one of the most dynamic economies of the world
and host to some of today’s important business stories! Beijing is at the heart
of the world’s second largest economy and the home of many of China’s most important
cultural and financial institutions: Tiananmen Square, dozens of Fortune Global
500 companies, the Great Wall of China, the People’s Bank of China. Live with an
English-speaking Chinese roommate, stroll around the nearby Olympic Village, engage
in an exciting internship, and travel around the world’s most populous country.
The Robert H. Smith School of Business has partnered with the University of International
Business and Economics (UIBE) and The Education Abroad Network (TEAN) to offer students
an immersive, academic, and fascinating program. Building off the existing relationship
with UIBE as part of the Smith Executive MBA program, our undergraduate students
have many opportunities for an engaging experience through events like dinner with
Smith faculty and networking with the area executives.
