Global Business Courses 2007-08

Courses for academic year 2006-07

The Center for Global Business offers global studies courses to graduate and undergraduate students.  All graduate courses are four credits.  Classes meet in College Park prior to departure, generally for four half-days, and then consist of ten days abroad.  Typically students are abroad during the winter term or the spring/summer break between sessions.

Courses are open to Smith School students only; Smith students may take no more than two global studies courses towards their degree.  For graduate courses, preference is given by class standing; after that, applications are taken on a first-come-first-served basis. Undergraduate applications are taken on a first-come-first-served basis. 

Application forms are posted on this site two weeks prior to the posted start date.  Any applications received before the posted start date/time cannot be accepted.

  • 2007-08 courses are all graduate level, all are four credits
  • The dates at this time are tentative and subject to change
  • We reserve the right to cancel any course not meeting enrollment requirements
  • Students are responsible for inter- and intra-country travel expenses other than local transportation to company visits, etc.
