Students visit the Taj Mahal - Agra, IndiaUnderstanding India and China is critical for the success of global firms and leaders. Both have dominated the economic news of the 1990s and 2000’s with stories of impressive growth and entrepreneurial spirit. India is the largest democracy and the second fastest growing large economy in the world with a GDP growth since 2003 averaging close to 8% a year. Some predict that India will be one of the three largest economies in the world in our lifetime, even ahead of US in some projections. China is coming into its own on the world stage as an economic leader stepping up to the corresponding responsibilities.
