Global Studies Courses 2008-9
The Center for Global Business offers Global
Studies courses to graduate students.
All courses are for four credits..
Classes meet in College Park prior to
departure, generally for four half-days, and
are typically abroad for ten. The
majority of courses are offered during the
winter term or in summer 1 directly after
spring semester concludes (late May).
Courses
are open to Robert H. Smith students only;
Smith students may take no more than two
Global Studies courses towards their degree.
Students do not register themselves for the
courses; for these classes we must take
applications. Students are admitted on a first-come-first-served basis
until the class is full; when many
applications are received at the same time,
preference is given by class standing.
Application forms are posted on this site
at least two weeks prior to the registration start date.
Any applications received before the posted
start date/time cannot be accepted.
