Faculty Profile
Youngsuk Yook, Visiting Assistant Professor in Finance, has her Ph.D. from
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an M.A. in economics from State
University of New York at Buffalo, and an M.A. in statistics Columbia
University. Her research areas of interest are corporate investment policy,
politics and finance, international investment, earnings management, and
corporate divestitures. Before joining Smith, she was an assistant professor of
finance at SKK Graduate School of Business at Sungkyunkwan University and a
visiting scholar at the Sloan School of Business at the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology.
