Richard Kolodny specializes in investment decisions, financial strategy, and corporate restructuring. He is the author of more than 40 publications, with articles in such leading journals as the Journal of Finance, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Rand Journal of Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, and Journal of Banking and Finance. His recent research focuses on mergers and acquisitions and on international investments. Kolodny has held associate editorships and directorships and has served as a consultant for numerous corporations and public sector organizations. He chaired the Finance Department for a number of years and retired from active teaching in 2001.
