Mr. Kiran Panchamgam is a graduate student pursuing his PhD in Operations Management/Management Science at University of Maryland College Park, in the Department of Decision, Operations and Information Technologies at Robert H. Smith School of Business. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology-Madras (IIT-M), Chennai, India. Before joining PhD program, Mr. Kiran Panchamgam worked for a transportation firm, DMJM Harris Inc., Fairfax, VA, as a GIS Developer/Engineer. Recently, he did a Visiting Assistant Professor/Lecturer position at Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine. He has successfully defended his dissertation "Essays in Retail Operations and Humanitarian Logistics" with advisors Prof. Itir Z. Karaesmen and Prof. Bruce Golden.
