BiographyI am an Assistant Professor at The Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. I've recently (May 1998) completed my Ph.D. in the Technology, Management and Policy Program at MIT. This is an interdisciplinary program combining technical, economic, and business analyses for integrated research. Although I graduated from MIT's School of Engineering in Course 6 (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) at MIT, I spent most of my time working with Course 15 (Sloan School of Management). I was a teaching assistant for the Sloan class Electronic Commerce/ Marketing and the Internet for the Spring 1996 semester. With my interdisciplinary work, I have a technical/economic background. I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University in 1992. I received my M.S. in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University in 1993.
